My nail journey starts with my first set of, ever trending, French tips I got at the local mall. I was just 17 years old, and I was instantly hooked with the feeling of beauty I got when leaving the salon with my new acrylic nail enhancements. The part that interested me the most, was the creativity and detail required by the nail technicians to make the art on the nails. From that day on, the love I had for this art continued to grow and I always found myself looking for new and creative nail designs in the world around me.

As the world was going into lock down and everything was uncertain, the requirement for being home for my family became more important than my day to day job. Once a routine was established at home, I found myself noticing how I had been neglecting my nails and how long it had been since I had that “new nail beauty feeling”. My love for nail enhancements was quickly rekindled and I found myself watching hours of “how to videos”, perfecting my technique on my own nails. As the pandemic was slowing down and schools were opening up, I decided to follow my dreams and become a professional nail technician, so I can share my designs and nail art with the community around me. I quickly found the best Advanced Aesthetics School, to which I got accepted to and graduated from. Then with my dreams of becoming a Nail Technician complete, I started my journey of sharing my art with the community.

During my younger years of visiting nail salons, something that bothered me with this was the feeling of being rushed out the door with the majority of a nail design incomplete, since the nail technician was only allotted a certain amount of time for the design I wanted. So in February of 2022, I decided to break this trend and start an at home Nail Salon , Social Nails, where the nail designs get completed and the client is cared for. I take pride in my work and I feel joy every time I enter my Salon and am so proud every time one of my Clients leaves happy. I can’t express how much this whole journey has changed my life. I look forward to a future of learning and hope I will get the chance to meet some of you along the way and to bring unique designs to life.
